You ended up feeling a little bad about the way you'd started feeling towards them both- they seemed perfectly content with each other

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Your reservations slowly faded when the two others kept paying so much attention to you. You weren't just a secondary protagonist, you were Stanley's direct companion, his go-to for help during a story or comfort outside of them, and frequent object of attention from Narrator

He'd add little comments about how Stanley's coworker was a handsome fellow, or point out little traits he adored in you when giving his introductions. Yes, it was important to mention almost every time how much your suit complimented your look. He'll even amp it up the more you get embarrassed, teasing just a bit

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Both Narrator and Stanley seemed to find amusement whenever you got flustered around them. Not in any mean-spirited way, they're just relieved to finally know what's been causing your slight nervousness around them, and knowing that you're comfortable with them beneath all that worry

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Sometimes Narrator would try and play matchmaker by making adventures that required you and Stanley to stick close together. Ones that emphasized teamwork and relying on each other. Or, sometimes, he's more bold and simply just puts you two on platforms that lead to you leaning on one another

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Stanley encourages you to make comments that openly fluster Narrator back, either by making him bashful or irritated. He never disagrees if you ever make comments about how amusing it is, even being the first to push that the voice is indeed rather attractive, which you sputteringly agreed to

ᯓᡣ𐭩 You eventually give into your feelings, telling the two with much worry in your heart about how you feel for them, emphasizing that you've been harboring these feelings for the both of them. They gently inform you that they've suspected as much for quite a while, but that they didn't mind the idea of sharing you at all. Before you knew it, they were both confessing right back

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Once the initial anxiety and communication is handled, Stanley shows you his methods of showing affection to the disembodied voice you two adore (his personal favorite is laying face-first on the floor as a 'hug'). Narrator keeps you both company basically 24/7, one of his favorite ways of bondings being reading excerpts of new story ideas and backhandedly fishing for feedback

i think this is my first headcanon thingy for tsp so i hope it’s okay 😭

— at first, stanley might not even notice that his significant other wants affection. he tends to be very focused on his work and routine, and might not pick up on the subtle hints you give him. however, once he does realize what's going on, he would try to be more attentive and affectionate towards you! he might start small, with things like holding hands or giving you a quick kiss on the cheek, just so it’s not too awkward.

he might also try to encourage his partner to open up more, without being too forceful. he might suggest things like going on a date or taking a walk together, in order to create a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere for the two of you.

overall, be would want to make sure that you feel loved and appreciated, even if you’re too shy to ask for it directly. he knows what it feels like to not be heard, and he never wants you to feel that way towards him!!

The Narrator would probably pick up on your desire for affection right away, thanks to his keen attention to detail and ability to read people.

he would try to be understanding and patient with you, recognizing that shyness can be difficult to overcome. he might tease you for it sometimes, but he’s just trying to be playful!

maybe he would also use his storytelling skills to create a more romantic atmosphere, perhaps by reading you a love poem or telling you a story idk.. he just has that specific kind of voice that you wouldn’t mind listening to, no matter what he’s saying

however, i feel like he might struggle with wanting to be in control of the situation. he might try to push you to be more open or affectionate, which could backfire and make you feel even more uncomfortable.. 😭

ultimately, the narrator would want to find a way to help you feel comfortable expressing your desires, while also respecting your boundaries and wishes, even if it takes some trial and error.

Chapter 6: Weather

Summary: The narrator experiences rain for the first time, realizes something about himself and Jay, has an existential crisis, and receives comfort.

...So, normally I'd just post the link above and stop the post there. I'm doing something a little different this time. I'll be brief, out of everything that I've written for this project, this is my absolute favorite chapter. I think this is the best one in the whole story, so I'm taking a moment to boost it up a little.

I genuinely think this is the best thing I've written yet. If you only read one thing of mine, I'd like this to be it. If you've faded out of the TSP fandom, if you've not had a chance to start reading this story, if you aren't involved in TSP at all, whatever your background or reason for following me is, please give this chapter a shot. I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Fresh out of a story run, you and Stanley had decided to head to the employee break room. You definitely both needed it, in the last run of the story the Narrator had been particularly uncooperative. So, in a fit of indignation, he was leaving you two be for the moment. Which only created one problem— without a story to follow, there wasn't much to do. Narrator only gave you two extra items to play around with on a good day, now it was just the two of you and the vending machine that didn't work.

You huffed a deep sigh, leaning against the table. You could always trash stuff or something like that, but it didn't really strike your interest today. You glanced to the blue couch on the other side of the room, then to where Stanley was doodling on a napkin with a spare pen he found. You slid over, trying to peer over his shoulder. He turned a little to hide the image from you, and you chuckled "Sorry, sorry". He huffed a little, using his hands as a guard to keep up the work. You draped yourself over his back, head leaning against his "Got anything you wanna do besides this mysterious art?"

Stanley shook his head. You sighed, keeping an arm around him "Still tired?". He nodded. "Yeah, I get that" you replied, drumming your fingers against his back while you thought. After some minutes, he leaned back, stuffing the napkin in his pocket. You leaned off of him, and he began using his hands to sign to you. Narrator had implemented captions to translate what was being said so you could understand better. ['You think he's gonna come back soon?'] He asked you. You gave a shrug "Who knows, this is like the third time he's left in a row"

['Right. But now we're just sitting here'] Stanley replied. "Aw, come on, there's gotta be something" you said, looking around. Your eyes landed on the blue couch again. You glanced back to Stanley, before gently taking hold of his sleeve, tugging him in that direction. Though visibly bewildered, he followed suit, keeping step with you. You let him go once in front of the furniture, sitting down with a heave flop. You scooted to the far end, kicking your feet up to lounge back. "Might as well make use of what we have. Take a seat" you said. ['You're taking up the whole couch'] Stanley signed, his expression showing his mild frustration. Without waiting for an answer, he gently pushed your legs off his spot, sitting beside you.

You chuckled as you scooted up a bit to make some room, before seeing the fatigue that clung to the primary protagonist. It was in the way his shoulders slumped and his back leaned into the cushions. His expression was also mildly troubled, brow furrowed and a small frown present. Your grin faltered, concern on your face. "Hey, you feeling okay?" You asked. Stanley just nodded. You gave a small hum of worry, unconvinced. You inched closer to his side, wrapping an arm around his shoulders "Come on, lay down, take a break" you gently insisted. ['But there isn't enough room-'] Stanley signed in reply. "Stan, you can lean on me. It's okay" you responded. Stanley hesitated.

['Are you sure?'] Stanley asked. "Hey, how many times have I fallen asleep on you?" you asked back, not waiting for an answer before continuing, "I don't mind, I promise. You need it anyways". Stanley thought it over, before scooting in. He waited for you to lay back before resting atop your chest, arms slowly snaking around your waist to press you close to him. He closed his eyes, letting out a soft grunt as he hid his face in the crook of your shoulder.

You pat his back, rubbing up the length of it before sliding back down. You added your nails in eventually, very lightly grazing his back with them. He went limp in your hold, muscles relaxing and frame easing. He nuzzled you just a bit, using you as a grounding touch while his mind slips away from him. The last you hear is a big, heavy sigh before he finally lets himself fall into a light but blissful sleep. Your hand stills, patting his upper back as the office worker shifted a bit to subconsciously get more comfortable.

You're content to just watch over him for a few minutes, cheek pressed to his head and arms a supporting hold to keep Stanley in that peaceful rest he's finally getting. You glanced down, noticing something in your peripheral vision. A small, dark beige little crumpled paper. With great caution, you slowly leaned over and picked it up. Unfolding it, you could see that it was the drawing Stanley had been working on moments prior, which must have fallen out. Your first instinct was to put it back down. He made it pretty obvious he didn't want you to see it, and you didn't want to pry. But to even see what it was, you had accidentally uncovered the image within. It was a little doodle of the both of you, simplified figures standing next to each other. It was you both sharing an umbrella in some scribbled on rain, closely tucked together, his arm around your waist.

You couldn't help but smile seeing the image. It was a cute picture of you both, and knowing that this is what Stanley wanted to keep from you so bad was a little amusing. But regardless, you folded it back up and tucked the napkin back into his pocket. It was a cute surprise, but you knew he'd be embarrassed and upset if he knew you unintentionally saw it. With that settled, you shifted to get more comfortable, closing your eyes to prepare for a nap of your own. You nuzzled the top of Stanley's head a bit before sinking into sleep with him.

— one of the best things about dating the narrator would be his ability to create romantic and memorable experiences! he might surprise you with a romantic picnic in the park, or take you on a spontaneous road trip to see the stars! and he can be such a hopeless romantic, writing love letters for you and using big fancy words to tell you how much he loves you.

however, i feel like he could also be unpredictable and moody. he might suddenly switch from being charming and romantic to distant and aloof, leaving you wondering what you did wrong 😭,, he’s just a bit of a drama queen and he’ll be over it in fifteen minutes anyways

you would have to be comfortable with being in the spotlight, as the narrator can be quite theatrical and he just loves to perform. he might recite poetry to you in public, or make grand gestures that draw attention from those around you.

he can also be quite controlling at times,,, as he likes to be in charge of the situation. this can usually be both exhilarating and frustrating, as you might feel like you are being led on a journey without knowing where it will end up.

and i feel like he can also be quite intense at times, and might struggle with expressing his emotions in a healthy way. he might become jealous or possessive quite easily, and could have a tendency to overanalyze and overthink situations.

despite these potential issues, the narrator would always try to be honest and upfront with you about his feelings. He would see communication as a key component of any healthy relationship, and would encourage you to be open and honest with him as well!!

he would be an excellent listener, and would always be there to offer support and advice when you need it. he would be able to see things from your perspective and would try to understand your feelings and motivations.

i feel like he would be super attentive to your needs and desires, and would go out of his way to make you feel special and appreciated! this could include things like giving you your favorite snacks, surprising you with thoughtful gifts, or taking you on extravagant dates!

overall though, dating the narrator would be a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences. you would have to be prepared for the unexpected, and be willing to take a chance on someone who isn’t like anyone else you have ever met. it would be a complex and challenging experience, but one that would be filled with love, passion, and commitment! he would always keep you on your toes, and would never let things become dull or routine.

The first time you came to the office in a game title 'Stanley Parable (Ultra Deluxe)' and the Narrator realize his champion named Stanley transform completely to be your body, it is panic time rising from down to the above. Like, you are confused how on earth did you get there, and The Narrator is now frusrated by the fact that his game ruined by a random character.

Nonetheless, after a long while you and The Narrator finally getting along just fine, you want to experience the feeling of love and dig to know him even better, so why not just date him already?

Truth be told, You are the one who make the first move and ask him to date with you. This result of how nervous mix stubborn (Tsundere) The Narrator feels and end up to accept your offer.

Your date place with him is in the zen/space/peaceful room. Both of you are together happy to watch the pretty aura lights and listen to the calming music. Obviously avoiding the stairs OF DOOM.

The Narrator's cheesy/flirty pick up lines with his fine wine voice never fails to make you even more blush. Sometimes you have the courage to shoot him with your compliments.
